Welcome to Birrahlee Preschool
Birrahlee Preschool Lane Cove has been providing preschool education to the Lane Cove community since 1958. As a community-based not-for-profit organisation, we aim to provide valuable initial experiences and guidance to preschool children aged 3-5 in a safe, friendly and happy environment.
We provide two-day (Monday & Tuesday or Thursday & Friday) and three-day (Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday programmes, which offer a wide range of stimulating activities within the security of a daily routine.
The general and specific needs of the children are included in the programme, embracing their social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs. This is achieved in a warm, caring environment.

Birrahlee acknowledges the original custodians of this land, the Cammeraygal people and pays respect to past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and education practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

In addition to physical tours, Birrahlee offers a virtual tour of the preschool. This video was filmed during the COVID-19 period and provides a good introduction to our facilities. Please note that some minor updates have since been made to our playground areas and classrooms, but the video remains a useful way to get a feel for Birrahlee.
